KeymasterHey I think I’m the first (non-Matt) poster!
A question I’ve never found an answer to…hoping someone can help. I occasionally get sweaty under my eyes and even on my forehead if I eat certain sweet foods. I used to eat a fair bit of chocolate and certain types would set it off, but since I have gone off choc, I don’t get it very often.
But I did just slam down some soft jellies and got it a little bit.
My brother also experiences it. It’s not a big deal and we’re not talking dripping like a tap sweat, but it does fascinate me none-the-less.
Any ideas? Have you heard of this Matt?

KeymasterCongrats on being the first. There was a problem with the login earlier that just got resolved about 10 minutes before you posted this. You shall go down in forum history!
Sugar is very metabolically-stimulating. A very metabolically-stimulating meal can and will cause a person to break out in a sweat. Sweating is a sign of a higher metabolism (unless of course you are very overweight and feel hot from the excess weight itself). So I think it’s a good sign, not necessarily a bad one or one to get concerned about.

KeymasterUnlike all the blog post commenters who miss out but don’t realise until too late, I actually get to say First…and be right!
Sweeeeeet
I am 6’1″, about 180-185 (I think, I’m in the metric world and my conversion calculator accuracy in my head is only so so), always been slim, so no problem there.
Never been concerned about it, just curious. Whenever I’ve mentioned it to people no one has experienced it or heard about it. I’ve even got some “you’re a freak” looks…
Cheers

KeymasterPS If you’re the keymaster, can I be the gatekeeper?

KeymasterWhen we were first testing this out Rob was listed as the Keymaster and I as a participant. I told him he had 5 minutes to make me the Gatekeeper or he was fired. Unfortunately it can’t be done. There can be a keymaster but no gatekeeper. Whomever came up with this forum software obviously not as a big of a Ghostbusters fan as I am.

KeymasterWell that’s shit. Whoever heard of nerds that haven’t heard of ghostbusters.
Not that there’s anything wrong with nerds. At least I hope not since I am one.

KeymasterBixy, your profile name just got changed to “anonymous.” Was that intentional or another glitch I need to look into?

ParticipantYou may have a problem Houston.
I updated my profile, then it seems my account got deleted. I just had to re-register.

KeymasterSon of a… Hopefully it’s from the web guy messing around and not some fatal error. Sorry for the annoyances. I’m sure this forum’s gonna be all messed up for a while in the early-going.
