Have been watching how my temperate changes in response to different kinds of exercise. Noticed that after walking the dog (very slow and relaxed) my temperature can drop as much as two degrees (celsius) but raises again after 15-30 mins. But after a short hard weight lifting session temperature will raise to 37 degrees (celsius) but may drop a little after 15-30 mins. Does anybody know why this is and whether it’s important?

It’s worth noting. Generally the harder the exercise, the greater the post-exercise thermogenesis, which was one reason I had so strongly favored high intensity exercise in my earlier research. Later on I realized that “research” cannot be the sole justification to do or not do any form of exercise. I would experiment freely and see what you like and what yields the most beneficial results. Tracking your temperature response to exercise could provide some clues.
