I have quite a few tiny red dots on my neck, chest, and arms. They started when I was under extreme stress about 2 years ago. Some are like a freckle and slightly raised, and others are like a speck–tiny. Any idea what they are and if they would go away on their own? They haven’t gotten worse over the last year or so, but haven’t gone away either. I’d feel a lot more reassured that I’m on the right track with my health if I could see these things go away. I read about cherry angiomas, but not sure that’s what the tiny tiny ones would be.

I guess I should add that I don’t expect the bigger freckle like ones to just disappear like magic, but the tiny ones are not raised and do appear more noticeable at some times and other times they seem very faded.

Sounds like petechiae from low platelets (which stress and a reduction in metabolic rate can induce).

If you can get your metabolic rate cranking and everything in pretty good working, they may very well disappear.

I’ve had those tiny red dots on the back of my arms and the top of my thighs since I was a little kid. I’ve actually seen a decrease in red dots since my metabolism has been getting better, but that has happened before though. Only time will tell if the disappear all the way.

I’ve got them too and I’ll keep an eye on them and see if they continue to improve like the rest of my problems have!

T Will that sounds like keratosis pilaris, which is a little different.
