    I was checking my body temp today and DD (2.5 years old) asked me to check hers. I did under the arm and it was 97.7. I forget- is that normal for under the arm? (I think it is supposed to be half a degree lower or higher than oral?) Are children supposed to have the same body temp as adults?

    I believe the underarm tests much lower. 0.5-1 degree lower. Your child seems fine (:

    Thanks Christinam- you are correct, underarm temps are lower. Phew :o)
