ParticipantThis evening, back up to 99.0F.

ParticipantAnd this afternoon, was thirsty all the time again.
I think I now understand. Drink for thirst, not color and frequency of pee. If thirsty, drink, but not beyond what is needed. I was trying to drink to obtain a golden pee every 4 hours. I’m going to trust that in time the color will gradually raise to a darker yellow and I’ll be peeing less. Until then I’ll keep following rules 1, 2, and 3 so I won’t stay obsessing about liquids.
Did I get this right?

ParticipantAn hour later, 98.6F. Seems to be no ill effect.

ParticipantTemperature immediately after: 98.8. So it did cool me off, but very little. I didn’t have to use the heater in the car at all. In fact, I had the cool on, which is highly unusual for me, ever. (See the story in my profile.)

ParticipantWell I’m about to find out. Currently sitting on the colonic table pooping my bottom out. Temp was 99.3 measured both an hour ago and just before coming in. Pee has been clear yellow today, haven’t been able to get that golden shower yet on the diet. But was glad the temps are right. First thing I noticed that after 3 days on this diet, poop is much clumpier. I suppose constipation, although I go either daily or 2x a day. I have been hitting the wheat awful hard since starting. Second thing I noticed is this room feels pleasant. It usually feels cold. Just before coming in, I had some thirst, so a few sips of tomato juice which has salt in it. She always gives about 10-12oz of “Emergen-C” water after sessions but I will only sip a bit and some more mater juice afterward.
Will report afterward.

ParticipantI’m currently about 80lbs over my supposed ideal weight. But weight loss isn’t my goal. If I feel like a million bucks and get a lot done, I honestly could care less if I have a spare tire. I’m just tired of being tired. (Story in my profile.)
Besides, if one begins to trade fat for muscle because they’ve been getting off the couch and accomplishing things, can you really measure the progress of that by a bathroom scale?
This is one place where being a man has an advantage: There isn’t anywhere near as much stigma about an obese male as there is an obese woman. Sorry ladies, that’s just how it is. But I hope you give up the weight loss pursuit. If people put you down for being overweight, they’re not the kind of people you really want to have acceptance from anyway.
I am a born-again Christian, and I love the body of Christ. The real born-again Christians. They accept you for who you are. If you’re around people who claim Christ but insult you, don’t believe for one second they’re born-again Christians, no matter what they tell you. Instead, find Christ and others who love Him. And, if you start to feel healthy, pursue Christ by helping others with your new-found energy. Soon, you’ll think less and less about the body fat.
Just my three cents. (Inflation.)

ParticipantThis is good info. I was wondering about this yesterday; I drank only a little bit when thirsty but kept obsessing about liquids. Followed rules 1, 2, and 3 from Eat for Heat but still peeing (what I think is) clear yellow. (See this other forum post.)
But I’d say I drank much more than 6 ounces. About 18oz of salted and honeyed “Emergen-C”, about 12oz of plain water, about 12oz salted orange juice, about 8oz raw whole fat goat milk in the morning. The water was when I got tired of the salted drink and was craving sweet, pure water. I swished it around in my mouth to try to lubricate and reduce the cravings.
Even with all this, I still wasn’t drinking more than for thirst, and I still was obsessing about liquids. But today it’s better.
Is it possible that excess water can take days to flush? The liquid obsession didn’t begin with this diet; Before this I was chugging constantly, and not because I had to, either. Further, about a week-and-a-half ago I had a colonic. I began this diet Friday evening (today is Tuesday).
So is it possible I have an excess that will take time to flush out?
