I buy this, Turkey Hill all natural. Made with milk, sugar and cream, vanilla. That’s all the ingredients. Simply wonderful.

Turkey Hill all natural ice cream is the best. Just sugar, cream, eggs, vanilla. Nothing else.

I’ve been trying to eat more earlier in the day, when my body is more active. Some days I’m more successful with that than others, because it is too easy to nibble in the evening if I’m home and tired.

Maple syrup is a great sweetener for yogurt. For breakfast I often have a scrambled egg cooked with a slice of bread in it, topped with maple-flavored yogurt. Yum!

I love almonds, they aren’t quite as bad as walnuts. I toast them myself in coconut oil. I think on the PUFA issue you just have to do the best you can while leading your life. Cook mostly your own food is most important.

About 9:30 to 5:30 works for me. I have never used an alarm clock. I was having difficulty sleeping for about a year, I think due to low fat then low carb diets, trying to control daily acid reflux. I’ve been eating lots more carbs since March, just got back into my prevoius sleep routine within the past month.

I drink milk daily, and also eat ice cream and cheese most days. They have contain many good fats and nutrients.

I’m just jumping into the sleepless group, problems staying asleep earlier in the evening, and waking way too early. I Think Matt recommended 4 parts sugar and 1 part salt.

I’ve never been overweight, but worried about it a lot. I wasn’t eating enough to fuel my workday. Now I eat more at lunch, indulge in afternoon snacks especially ice cream, and eat less at dinner and in the evening. I believe I am eating more, my weight is stable.

It seems to be sold fat free around where I live, and I want fat included because it is good for me and tastes good.

More highly processed foods are easier to digest, so you might see if switching to instant oatmeal helps you feel better. I used to eat oatmeal every day, but now I have eggs with toast and friut. I have GERD.

Zucchini pancake: I grated a medium zuc, beat in a couple of eggs, maybe 1/4 cup flour, a nice handful of cheddar cheese, some salt & pepper. Fried it up in coconut oil, cutting it into quarters to make flipping easier.

Sue, I love your humor! My cookies always taste great to me, and I just stir together the melted butter and sugar. Eggs do mix in better if you add them one at a time. Then I add “all the rest”. I often make a butter/almond cookie that I believe is my grandmother’s recipe. I don’t know how well she creamed that butter, but life is different now.

In case you missed it, I make “mayo” with yogurt and olive oil. It’s under the Avoiding PUFA thread. Much easier than making your own in a blender.

Sue, if you melt the butter when making cookies, the sugar combines easily, no need to “cream”.
