I used a Breathe Right strip as tape for my mouth last night, since I had them on hand. I believe it was effective while it lasted. I woke at 3 and decided to remove it for some reason.

I think your body is feeling hot in comparison to the outside temperature…therefore your body is colder than the surrounding air. If you get your temp into normal range, I think you will no longer feel warmer than everyone else.
Thank you so much for this post–it echoes what I’ve been thinking. I needed to get away from demonizing the act of eating. Have made a habit of extremes over the years–over-training, under-eating, staying up too late.
I was habitually having no breakfast or just coffee/cream and a couple of Brazil nuts. My energy was incredibly low and I felt guilty about most foods. Got so tired of meat and eggs after my paleo stint. Nothing digested, was cold all of the time. Matt’s approach has relaxed my mind so that I can listen to my body. I feel much more peaceful.
Starting to exercise more because I feel like it. Slowly backing down on the Oreos. :-)

Oh my gosh, I woke up so cold this morning and had to eat SO much to get my temperature up. Then boom! My period started. I do not feel at all well or energetic today. Eating all the chocolate.
Hi, nbogosian: I think you ask a good question. Also, clearing stressors and fueling for peace sounds like a solid plan.
I do want to mention that Matt does not, as far as I can read anywhere, charge for this advice, unless you do a one-on-one consultation, which costs 195 dollars US (about 116 British pounds).

I have, thank you! It did not work. I also use a reflexology ring on my pinkie, which helps a little.
I even bought a didgeridoo, which is just WEIRD. I don’t enjoy the sound it makes and as a musician, I don’t enjoy playing it enough to do it long enough to see any benefit. I should probably try again.
Hoping once my metabolism revs up that it will disappear on its own.

Yes, I fixed my thyroid with mineral balancing, but that was hyperthyroidism/Graves disease.
There’s a defunct website that’s still accessible to some extent that helped me a LOT: ithyroid.com
