The quantity is all about your taste, one pinch of salt and five pinches of sugar can be an useful starting point. :)

A mixture of salt and sugar is better and the ratio is: 5:1, 5xSugar:1xSalt, this is better also for the flavor. ;)

Really I don’t know, these are the ideas that came in my mind…
Do you have some other health issues? Did you do some blood test for hypothyrodism?
I tried several things in the last six months, but I did little progress because (I guess) the SSRI I take that have several anti metabolic effects and I suspect I have also a bit of hypothyrodism (I don’t know if provoked by SSRI or not) but I have to wait to do some blood analysis to be certain… But other health issues could be capable to sabotage your progresses, this is what I think. :)

mix 5 part of sugar with 1 part of salt, put it in a little bag and take it when needed under the tongue, you will not have need to get out of bed.
Other ideas could be: an hot shower before sleep and hot bag in the bed.

Before the crash happens try to eat a good meal with starch, sugar, salt and saturated fat. For example you know that at 3pm you have a crash, well at 2pm or 2.30pm eat a consistent meal with the combination I wrote before. ;)

The more powerful effect happens mixing salt and sugar with starch and fat. Only sugar could be not enough, try adding something salty like chips, or you can try to mix 5 part of sugar with 1 part of salt and take it when needed before sleep or when you want, if you can’t eat or you have no will of eat.
Did you read diet recovery 2 or eat for heat?
These two books have a lot of informatioms that can be useful. Anyway here in the forum and in the web-site you can find a lot of informatioms too. :)
    Good luck! :)

Yeah Amy, I understand what you mean… But Meds for me are useful, in the past I used other stuff like St. John’s Wort, Bach flowers, but nothing worked… Meds help me a lot… I’m afraid that not using meds could harm me and destroy all what I’ve done till now…

For what I understood, after the weight gain stops at set point, there are high possibilities weight loss begins. Then, following your own instinct I guess that with high and stable metabolism we begin to eat the right amount of food and to move more, and naturally the weight loss begins. Then the craving for certain food (like heavy or very caloric food) decrease and naturally we tend to have a more large spectrum of foods.

I guess I’m a bit an owl like you… Try to wake up a half hour before usually, and continue to go to sleep only when you have really the need to sleep. Other ideas could be to not take caffeine after 2 pm, eating three hours before sleep (if you don’t have some night crash, like cold feet or low temps), quitting the tv or pc one hour before bed, avoid naps during the day, trying to sleep in a dark room, sleeping in a room not too hot. You can try to read something of deepak chopra, like many people here advised me, or something of paul mckenna from whom I took several advices I wrote above. Good luck! :-)

To make it clear this morning I drank nothing (sorry for the mistake, in the previous post). The past mornings I drank only the milk and then nothing till lunch… I think my liquid intake is really minimal… I drink more normal after 6 pm (following my thirst), because is the moment my temps grow up.

Yeah amabel, it is my oral temp. Consider to measure your temp orally, for what I understand it is more precise, and in your case you could see a higher temp, maybe the ideal temp. ;)

My coach-trainer give me this advice to control thirst: eat a slice of lemon with salt. It can be useful to someone. Give it a try if you need! :D
