38 yr old female I was very very ill with a severe infection for years and was misdiagnosed until I became bedridden. Hypothyroid and low adrenal function. I was on Armour and Cortef. This helped a little bit. Diagnosis finally Lyme disease. I healed through natural means and with a great doctor who was an MD but believes in whatever works :) alternative and western. I got off of all meds and have been doing pretty well, got most of my life back, however my lingering "low adrenal" symptoms keep popping up.I figured it was from the Cortef or damage from the infection and I would just have to live with it. I stumbled on this site and realized that low calories may be the missing link to my full recovery so I bought the book and I am jumping in :)
