Unfortunately I've got to spend 8 hours a day standing/sprinting in 30 degree weather. I still think I'm gaining some weight though. Reply Matt Stone on December 12, 2009 at 3:11 pm Weight gain is typical on the milk diet unless you are extremely overweight, and particularly if you have excessive edema (water retention). But you are only gaining subcutanous fat (healthy), bone mass, organ mass, muscle tissue, connective tissue, and gaining weight through cellular hydration. These are all good things and probably why the milk diet is touted to be so therapeutic. Let us know how it goes.
